The large 20" x 28" table provides plenty of work support and slides on two tracks, keeping the fence parallel to the head at all times. A 60" fence with 4 flip stops locates material with precision. The Powermatic 1791293 is an Oscillating Edge Sander. The sander has a large 11-3/4 x 48 table that will travel a full 8 in vertical height to accommodate all parts from tall to small. It will also tilt negative 5 and out to positive 45. The cast iron platen is generous 48 x 9-1/2 and covered with graphite for production sanding, offering super support and cooler running to extend belt life. With 24 oscillations per minute user can use the entire belt face without burning. A 3 HP, 3 ph 230/460V motor powers the belt and runs a large gearbox to provide the oscillating action. The entire head pivots on a massive shaft with two sealed ball bearings for trouble free performance. Dual dust collection ports keep the work area clean and extend the life of the abrasive belt.

The Powermatic 1791289 is a 18" Right Hand Cut-Off Saw. The saw is powered by a big 10 HP motor and is designed for production cutting of up to 70 cycles a minute. The saw is constructed with a cast iron table and heavy steel plate body, built for production cutting. The blade is mounted to a chrome steel alloy arbor that is precision ground and balanced. The arbor is supported by massive bearings and full power of the 10 HP motor is transmitted to the blade. Each cutting cycle is cushioned by a large shock absorber and cycle times are easily adjustable. A large 4" dust collection port keeps the work area clear. Blade changes are accomplished quickly through the large side access door. Standard equipment includes a pneumatic safety guard on the inside and a full basket guard on the finish side. The heavy blade/clamp assembly is quickly positioned for different jobs.
